Résumé

Les techniques de récupération ont toujours fait l’objet de nombreux débats au sein des communautés sportive et scientifique. Les bienfaits des bains froids sur certains processus de récupération sont désormais remis en cause tandis que la thérapie par la chaleur gagne en popularité. Enquête sur les effets physiologiques et les doutes concernant l’impact de ces méthodes sur la performance, mais aussi sur les biais des études existantes et les perspectives de recherche.
