Abstract

Capitalising on an interdisciplinary approach, the Paraperf project has been selected by the “Very High Performance Sport” Priority Research Programme. The project supports the French Badminton, Handisport and Shooting federations in preparing the French Paralympic teams. Over the past four years, the teams from the thirteen laboratories involved have been working to improve knowledge of the specific features of Paralympic performance and to provide reliable information and tools that will be useful to coaches and para-sporters right up to the Paris Games and beyond.
